African Artist - A Bold Solo Art Exhibition Defying Conventions By Miabo Enyadike

Unveiling Creativity: A Bold Solo Art Exhibition Defying Conventions                   In recent weeks, I dedicated myself to preparing for what would become one of my most ambitious and revealing solo exhibitions. As an abstract artist, my canvas knows no bounds, and I embarked on a journey to showcase this free-spirited approach to an art crowd unaccustomed to my unconventional methods. This exhibition featured a diverse array of artworks, including ink creations on paperboard, newspaper, and brown box paper. Sculptures crafted from jeans, rope art, and textile art added a unique dimension to the showcase. Transforming discarded items into art gains significance when the pieces serve a dual purpose—being both functional and expressive. It was a daring and somewhat anxious presentation as I invited the a...

Abstract Art Ideas For Artists | Artmiabo

Abstract Art Ideas For Artists When I set out to create a collage art, I have one thing in mind and that  is anything goes and I love that.   I collect all sorts and rummaging through charity shops, and flea markets is an absolute delight for me and an outing I so look forward too. I staunchly believe, that the best vintage finds and the most amazing decor  pieces,  that could be fine tuned and turned around are found in these markets and that keeps me excited. Every object I collect be it metal, wood, glass old fabric, anything at all is a potential Object d' Art for me, and my creative juices go on over drive and some sort of art is born.                                     These are some of the finds I collected on my numerous flea market and charity shop trips, they include, old jeans, old boards, old paper letters, old bottles, pine cones, old ...

Abstract Painting Mama's Market | Artmiabo

Abstract Painting Mama's Market  I have always wondered thoughtfully, how to define the typical African woman? What drives her? What keeps her going strong? when all is obviously not well! What makes her go all out, to be there for her family regardless of her circumstances, and her ability to be the rock in her family, and weather all difficulties, whilst picking up all the pieces for those she calls her own.  In a continent that is ravaged by war, poor basic amenities, rape, women abuse, child marriages, poor education, no jobs, poor health care, frequent disease outbreaks and the worst, corruption!. Where every achievement taken for granted else where, is herculean in Africa.                          It is mind boggling, to see, day in day out the obstacle most African women, face to survive, let alone be a wife and a mother. Their refusal to be put down by events, be it tradition or otherwise and to a...

Art Quotes By Famous Artists We Need | Miabo Enyadike

Art Quotes By Famous Artists We Need   "Art is the way I see it, from within me colorful and boundless by no one except me the Artist" - Miabo Enyadike  This quote of mine was borne out of the experience as an artist with a different mindset, on how to create Art and the messaging involved in the narrative.  My Art is color driven and boundless there are no affiliations, just me as an artist-driven by the passion to create something. Whenever critics and patrons alike ask questions about my Art style and its simplistic approach, 'Matisse' quote always comes to mind and it's confirmed further by Picasso's quote which I might think maybe where observations they had and spoke them aloud to their critiques.                     Abstract Artist, Miabo Enyadike The quotes by Henri Matisse and Pablo Picasso that inspire and encourage me are these ones in particular    "It has bothered me all my life that I do ...

ART ILLUSTRATION-THE FAMILY X DAY OUT | BY MIABO ENYADIKE

Art illustration-Family:Ink/Marker:by Miabo Enyadike Sitting and having lunch in a restaurant sometime ago and minding my own business...  I noticed a family walk in from the corner of my eye, and watched them slowly settle in a table opposite mine. It was one of those lazy afternoons I had nothing to do and just wanted to chill out.  So doing nothing, my eyes were busy taking note of everything around me whilst I had my drink.  It was interesting, to watch this family of four, the mother who obviously, looked like she needed a break and the father who could not hide his frustration, about anything and everything.                               Art illustration-Family:Ink/Marker:by Miabo Enyadike They had this cute daughter who ran the show. She really was joyfully naughty de...
