Textile Abstract Art 'Tears That Keep Flowing' | Artmiabo

Tears That Keep Flowing  Abstract Art and Art Storytelling come hand in hand, I tell stories that I have seen happen, read about or have had a similar experience through abstract Art.  To me it really doesn't matter much what style or expression I use to interpret my stories, I use what is available to me and try to make the best out out it. Hence the use of textiles for this Art project. Fabric cut offs for me, its just like a dog and a bone. I love, to collect fabrics samples and cut offs.  My ears are fastened to the ground, for any information on fabric cutoffs.  My last batch of textiles, came from a charity store , down the road. I took advantage, of the fact that I'm known there already, to choose the best, right inside the managers store room/office.           I descended on brocade , cotton , poly cotton, jersey and good linen textile cut offs with great pleasure! This time around I was going to create c...

Art  Museums and Galleries to Visit.  Art galleries around the world afford audiences a preview or view of culture past and present.  They are curated in ways that educate, inspire and intrigue their audience.  People visit these museum galleries for so many reasons, mostly from curiosity and interest to learn more about culture and a subject matter. I love visiting art galleries and discovering new Artist and the Inspiration behind their artwork, but museum galleries are another art form in itself. I have my works in a couple of galleries here in Johannesburg, but my blog today is about 10 museum art galleries, that I think inspires, fascinates and intrigues us all. They are irresistible, I  have visited some of these museums and I know people, who have been to all of them several times over. I hope to visit some of them in the near future, but one can still view the art in them through the internet. So here are my...

Art Guide - Elite level Art Marketing strategies by Miabo Enyadike

Elite level Art Marketing strategies  You're not alone in feeling that you've tried everything, many artists hit this wall. But there are elite level strategies and underutilized channels that most artists don’t tap into. Here are power moves you likely haven’t fully explored or leveraged together: 1. Position Yourself as a Premium Art Brand Create scarcity: Limit editions of your prints or originals to make them more desirable. Raise your prices to match the perception of value. Buyers equate higher cost with importance. Upgrade presentation: Use storytelling, testimonials, professional product photography, and elegant framing to justify your pricing. 2. Create a Signature Art Investment Series Launch a collection titled, e.g., “Legacy Pieces” or “Cultural Heritage Series” with certificates of authenticity and an investment narrative. Offer a 10-year buy-back clause (if unsold by the collector, you'll buy it back at 50%) to show confidence in your work's va...

Art for Interiors-Tulip flower Painting By Miabo Enyadike

Art blog     Tulip flower Original Art                                                                        Purple Tulip Flower art story is the story of how this purple tulip painting came about.  Over the years the florist down the road where I live, always has these beautiful tulip flowers in small planters and I would buy them a lot during the winter period, here in Johannesburg where I reside. The colors would range from orange, red, yellow and white. I never saw a purple tulip in the flower store before, and I had only seen purple tulips in magazines.  I wanted them and I would always ask for them anyway.                                      Then came one winter and my florist surprise...
