  Artist Studio  My goodness, the Johannesburg winter is over and now is spring September, bringing in new ideas and intentions,  that are out there to explore.As for me I am exploring more work in my garage office / studio,                              just hoping to finish the huge pile of work laying around.                                  Anyways started work already, creating some up-cycle and mixed media art,using old                      newspaper,leather, acrylic paint etc. Also more work on the empty bottles of grape juice just piling up!                         Would keep you posted as the work turns out, this is me today  working in my studio.............

Art Studio Vibes for 2015 Starting the year, with one of my most fulfilling Art endeavors,which is re-purposing and re-cycling discarded objects into Art. Through the last few weeks its been me, putting up inspiration/mood boards for my art this year. My busy mood board for 2014 I spent the last few weeks of last year 2014, gathering as much discarded objects from every where possible.  So I could create themes and purpose around these items.  My studio is in a total mayhem right now.  Bought a lot of cheap glass and ceramic vases from the thrift and charity stores,how exciting is that?. Collected tonnes of bottles from friends and restaurants.  Talked my favorite fabric store, into selling all there fabric remnants to me,  for cheap. Also got good quality leather scraps, from stalking my upholstery maker down the road.  With all the other necessary add on's and craft materials ready I think I'm getting my craft w...
