Old and Used bottles, give me so much pleasure to revamp and give a new lease of life.

The thrill for me, are the endless possibilities, that go with this craft.

All you need, is an open mind and you can express yourself, anyhow it fits.

For me using fabric, ropes, and paper is more my style.

Another aspect is the fact that bottles are cheap to obtain.

Artmiabo Photos

You can get them at your house, from friends.

You can also ask, your local restaurant or bar and get them for free.

It's all, in the creative process and what we make, of these bottles that matter.

HOW TO 'DECONSTRUCT' PAINTINGS AND DRAWINGS FOR OTHER PURPOSES BY MIABO ENYADIKE

I love playing with drawings I've made,

I enjoy taking them further almost like deconstructing them,

into something more exciting and forward. I have created quite a few for clients, over the years and they have turned out awesome.

Lately, I  picked a few of my original Art and 'deconstructed' them again, into fabric and wallpaper design.

ART WITH JEANS SERIES

Sometimes in Art, we have a vision of creativity, that has nothing to do with any events or occurrences around us,

DENIM JEANS SCULPTURE; UNTITLED;  2015; BY MIABO ENYADIKE.

except for the sheer need, as an artist to express this vision.

DENIM JEANS SCULPTURE; UNTITLED; 2015;  BY MIABO ENYADIKE.

These sculpture pieces, that I made fall in that exclusive category.

DENIM JEANS SCULPTURE; UNTITLED; 2015;  BY MIABO ENYADIKE.

For me, other than  having so many pairs of old and used denim pants, that I had collected and kept,

DENIM JEANS PANTS SCULPTURE; UNTITLED; 2015; BY MIABO ENYADIKE

there really wasn't any inspiration behind these sculpted pieces.

The fact, that I did not want to discard them and always wanted to recycle them,

DENIM JEANS PANTS SCULPTURE; UNTITLED; 2015; BY MIABO ENYADIKE

into Art of some sort, probably is the inspiration behind them.

So they remain untitled...Enjoy

ART ILLUSTRATION-THE FAMILY X DAY OUT | BY MIABO ENYADIKE

                        Art illustration-Family:Ink/Marker:by Miabo Enyadike
Sitting and having lunch in a restaurant sometime ago and minding my own business...

I noticed a family walk in from the corner of my eye, and watched them slowly settle in a table opposite mine.

It was one of those lazy afternoons I had nothing to do and just wanted to chill out.

So doing nothing, my eyes were busy taking note of everything around me whilst I had my drink.

It was interesting, to watch this family of four, the mother who obviously, looked like she needed a break and the father who could not hide his frustration, about anything and everything.

They had this cute daughter who ran the show. She really was joyfully naughty definitely getting under the skin of her dad, thank goodness not her mum who was bent on ignoring her tantrums.

The other member of the family a teenage boy between the age of 14 and 16 I could not really tell, had his entire attention on his phone totally oblivious of what was going on around his person.

I watched underneath my eyelids, enjoying every moment of this family's outing and glad to be out alone.

As a mother of 2 teenage kids and a 6 yr old, I could understand why the mother of those kids, needed a break and left their father to attend to the kids.

It's a scene, that is all too familiar to me and plays out each time we are out as a family.

Anything the kids say or need, I just point my finger, to their father and say ask daddy!.

I decided to capture this scene and of course relieved that I was not in it.

I  brought out my pen from my bag, after I had asked for my bill, and quickly sketched the facial expressions, of this family on a spare napkin on my table.

I later made a mixed media illustration painting of it later that afternoon.......Enjoy.
