Exploring the Beauty of Cape Verde: My Travel Photo Journey

Some years back, I travelled to Cape Verde and I had a marvelous time and whilst there I did take a lot of photos in Cape Verde, but with a crazy schedule like mine, years went by without sharing them now I can and I'm doing just that sharing!....

Cape Verde, stunning archipelago off the northwest coast of Africa, is a true gem waiting to be discovered. My recent trip to this captivating destination left me with unforgettable memories and a collection of travel photos that I’m thrilled to share with you.

From pristine beaches to vibrant local culture, Cape Verde offers a diverse range of experiences that are a feast for the eyes and soul.

One of the first things that struck me about Cape Verde was its breathtaking landscapes. The islands boast a mix of volcanic mountains, lush valleys, and pristine coastlines.

My camera couldn’t stop clicking as I captured the rugged beauty of Fogo Island, with its towering volcano and unique black sand beaches. The contrast between the stark volcanic terrain and the clear blue waters was simply mesmerizing.

The local culture in Cape Verde is equally enchanting. In Santiago, the largest island, I immersed myself in the rich history and vibrant traditions of the Cape Verdean people.

Cape Verde’s beaches are nothing short of paradise. Sal Island, known for its stunning beaches and crystal-clear waters, was a highlight of my trip. I spent days lounging on the soft sands of Santa Maria Beach, swimming in the turquoise sea, and capturing the serene beauty of the coastline.

Artists Staying True To Your Art Style | Artmiabo

Artists Staying True To Your Art Style STAYING TRUE TO YOUR ART STYLE What is Your Art Style? The Artist, especially the fine Artist is one that communicates their raw and true emotions through their work.   The talent that is birth through these kinds of emotions from the Artist, is the Artwork we see them create time after time, giving it relevance regardless of their personal social status. This for me is the definition of the Art style of an Artist .  Consistency is key as well as fluidity, an ability to play with all mediums and still be recognizable is the defining factor of an Artist with their own style.                    Your Art style is not a trend but one that is given to the Artist as a personal vision and its instructed from within so much that even the Artist cannot really explain how or run away from it  but can only translate this vision into reality.     ...

Expressionist Abstract Art of Women  Drawing women and their expressions is something, I am truly interested in. Female profiles and faces in abstract is intriguing and Ink drawings, are a way for me to throw that notion out there, of a female portrait created differently.  This is something that is important to me as a woman artist, this matters.                                                                                                                 I draw faces in a way that is uncomplicated  and easy to read, in a rather caricature way though not comical, with ink, it is easy to let the colors flow so that they create for me, the facial contours and structure.  My emphasis...
