MAKING POSTERS WITH YOUR ART CAN INCREASE REVENUE  FOR  ARTISTS - THIS IS HOW

ARTISTS FOCUS:

Artists focus in general look for ways to monetize their art so that it helps their bottom line. The exhibitions come and go, the commissions might come or may not that is why as artists we continue to work so that we have enough art to take care of all avenues, we hope to make money from.

In my somewhat 28 yrs of being a professional artist and a dealer, putting my artworks out there has been both challenging and rewarding at the same.

There are a lot more avenues now that artists can use to monetize their artwork, being an Artists now couldn't be more rewarding as the internet evolves and makes art selling a lot easier.

ARTISTS OPPORTUNITIES

The opportunities out there for the artists are huge and tremendous that we are spoiled for choice as to which platform to use. I use Zazzle, so I can recommend it.

The offerings on these platforms, takes away the headaches of reaching out to potential collectors and creating awareness with a business around our artworks, that in turn helps we the artists to continue creating art.

 WAY TO MONETIZE

A simple way to monetize our artworks is making Posters, art is expensive to create but it is also difficult to sell.

Today anything can be referred to as art, we see that daily.... remember the 'famous banana episode'  last year in the Miami Basel art fair.... that should be a lesson to artists that art is what a collector says it is, not what the artists knows it is.

Bottom line we need collectors and them buying our artworks, is all that matters regardless of our views, subjects, medium or material.

From a personal experience I would say style and provocation might be a selling point, that is why artists like myself explore every avenue available to get our works out there and create a collectors base, that cuts across all ages and mind set.

I sell my simple art, mostly flower illustrations and some abstracts paintings as posters on popular Print on demand sites like zazzle .

MY EXPERIENCE

My experience with online platforms started in 2014 and so far it has been good though, not without a lot of hard work with a lot of push and Posters for me has been part of that success.

Not everyone that sees your art can afford the price of an original artwork, they love it and can't buy it even when you make limited edition prints, which are equally expensive.

We as Artists, need to look at the gap and make something for those collectors, who love what we do and are willing to pay for downloads or posters of our artwork.

ATTRACTING COLLECTORS

There are collectors out there, who collect posters, some might be galleries, resellers or even decorators and these platforms makes it easier for them to connect with unknown Artists and see new and different Art.

These are some of the reasons that art selling platforms like Zazzle and others exist, they help Artists attract new buyers and collectors at practically no cost!

They take care of that need by connecting your artworks to those collectors who need what you do at a lower price and at no cost to you the artist.

Contemporary Abstract Expressionism Art to View By Miabo Enyadike

Contemporary Abstract Expressionism Art - Colors and Lines                    Imagine life without color, I have tried too, but I have found it so impossible to envisage. The simple reason, is every where we turn there are colors, tones, hues and lines in such harmony. The inspiration behind these abstract faces series is harmonising colors and lines in an expressionist style.                                  This abstract collection is colors and lines, in which I decided to explore the use of  colors, creating tones and shades, using blurry and sharp lines created with ink to emphasis a synergy between  the two.                                                            ...

Modern Abstract Art Silhouettes to view | Miabo Enyadike

Modern Abstract Art Silhouettes to view   I enjoy painting abstract art silhouettes especially faces. The simple reason is I can manipulate the profile of an individual, with several layers of color. Color for me is an integral part of my art aesthetics I allow color to lead my creative process in the way I see the art I am about to create.            Silhouette of a woman; Abstract Art; by miabo enyadike. My Abstract Art this week is all about using colors to create a simple silhouette, of a woman and a man. When I decided to create this particular abstract painting, it was more of emphasis on color than on the human profile. I wanted to see what the outcome of the creative process would look like.  Also to see if and when the human features are covered in colors, other than our natural colors would this Art evoke any emotions?... that simply belies the fact, that color seems to be one the many problems we have in our so...

Nature must have it's way always. The different seasons we experience, show the dominance and prominence nature plays in our lives, with or witho...

Expressionist Abstract Art of Women by Miabo Enyadike

Expressionist Abstract Art of Women  Drawing women and their expressions is something, I am truly interested in. Female profiles and faces in abstract is intriguing and Ink drawings, are a way for me to throw that notion out there, of a female portrait created differently.  This is something that is important to me as a woman artist, this matters.                                                                                                                  I draw faces in a way that is uncomplicated  and easy to read, in a rather caricature way though not comical, with ink, it is easy to let the colors flow so that they create for me, the facial contours and structure.  My emp...

Abstract Art Faces Ideas to View Now | By Miabo Enyadike

Abstract Art Faces Ideas to View Now Indigo Blue color is a color tone, I have come to know and love. This color was huge in the late seventies, in my home country of Nigeria. It is a  blue color, I remember vividly that was used on fabrics to create what we know as Adire(Tie dye) pronounced Ah-d-rear.               FACES IN BLUE ABSTRACT PAINTING BLOG The Inspiration for this series is drawn from the blue tye-dye fabric in my home country, where different shades and tones of blue are applied on white cotton through natural dyes to create a traditional textile design called Adire.  This used to be an ancient textile Art of dying pure cotton fabric for days in a dye pit dug in the ground, using natural elements that create this awesome blue hue, and this method of traditional dyeing is still used till this very day. In my early childhood in Nigeria, early seventies, everywhere you turned at that time or era everyone had an A...
