Contemporary Earth Day Art Inspired by 2017, Earth day Protest

Earth day was protested over the weekend and I sat at home and watched on TV, all the protest around the world and read some Op-eds on why this particular 2017,
earth day protest is needed.

It aimed to emphasis the need for science and funding for research on how to create Jobs and sustainability around climate change and reduction of global carbon emissions, because of climate change deniers and defunding for research.

Also how all this is pivotal to sustaining our well being as humans and for our planet which by the way is under all sorts of threat.

As I watched and saw all the signs made and carried by the protesters,  I was amazed at the sheer audacity of the number of people who came out.

I was struck by the diversity and the facial expressions of the protesters, that was awesome to say the least.

By the way facial expressions drawn in a simple or rather abstract way is one Art I just love to paint or draw.

So this 2017, earth day march and protest gave me fantastic personalities and content to use.

A lot of the signs I noted, where written on brown corrugated cardboard paper, it looked like they where torn up in a hurry and made into signs.

It maybe intentional or not, for me it looked like a sign of what the earth is experiencing, a desperate need to combat climate change, tearing the earth through incessant floods, wild fires, hurricanes, constant volcano eruptions, etc.

I was immediately inspired, to  create some sort of Art on all my cardboard boxes I, was looking to dispose.

It simply showed that our messages, can be seen or heard regardless of the material used to convey its content.

As an Artist I was inspired by the creativity and simplicity of these messages and decided to create some Art on all my card board boxes packed to be discarded.

Well maybe I did something right or wrong the truth is I created some sort of art, inspired by 2017, earth day protest round the world....Enjoy.

Several Ways to Promote Your Art Online and Offline by Artmiabo

Several Ways to Promote Your Art  Art is truly in the eyes of the beholder, who love what they see immediately, but the purchasing of the Art is a different ball game.  People tend to make a decision to buy your art after several views that is the way it works.   For some fewer views and they buy, while others several views before a collector makes a purchase.             Abstract Flower Painting, Wall Art,  by Miabo Enyadike The reason for these disparities is sometimes, name recognition could prompt a quick purchase or good presentation of your Art could be a factor.  While on the other hand poor presentation, costing, need, and relevance could lead to delays.  The issues here are relative, there is no quick magic to sell your art, you just have to put it out there for people to see and decide for themselves.  I have been fortunate to be in the Art business for over 20 years, so I have a...

Modern Abstract Art Silhouettes to view | Miabo Enyadike

Modern Abstract Art Silhouettes to view   I enjoy painting abstract art silhouettes especially faces. The simple reason is I can manipulate the profile of an individual, with several layers of color. Color for me is an integral part of my art aesthetics I allow color to lead my creative process in the way I see the art I am about to create.            Silhouette of a woman; Abstract Art; by miabo enyadike. My Abstract Art this week is all about using colors to create a simple silhouette, of a woman and a man. When I decided to create this particular abstract painting, it was more of emphasis on color than on the human profile. I wanted to see what the outcome of the creative process would look like.  Also to see if and when the human features are covered in colors, other than our natural colors would this Art evoke any emotions?... that simply belies the fact, that color seems to be one the many problems we have in our so...
