Right now, I am listening to Georgia on my mind by Ray Charles, and wondering how I will cope with all the Christmas markets, out there in Johannesburg, that I have to set up stalls in, and how I intend to cope with making all the little arts and craft bits that would be displayed in these stalls.

Maybe, I should  focus on Christmas greetings, this time around, instead of making a variety of gift items. As I listen to the song, and hear Ray Charles, sing it from the heart,

Learn how to create a strong brand, market your products, and grow your craft sales both online and offline. I remember when I decided to craft and sell my recycled art objects, it was scary because I didn't know how to go about it. Several Ways to Promote Your Art Online and Offline by Artmiabo

Several Ways to Promote Your Art  Art is truly in the eyes of the beholder, who love what they see immediately, but the purchasing of the Art is a different ball game.  People tend to make a decision to buy your art after several views that is the way it works.   For some fewer views and they buy, while others several views before a collector makes a purchase.             Abstract Flower Painting, Wall Art,  by Miabo Enyadike The reason for these disparities is sometimes, name recognition could prompt a quick purchase or good presentation of your Art could be a factor.  While on the other hand poor presentation, costing, need, and relevance could lead to delays.  The issues here are relative, there is no quick magic to sell your art, you just have to put it out there for people to see and decide for themselves.  I have been fortunate to be in the Art business for over 20 years, so I have a...

Abstract Art Silhouettes by Miabo Enyadike

Abstract Art Silhouettes My practice in Abstract Expressionism is rooted in color as a force of identity rather than decoration.  Through what I define as Abstract Silhouette Art, I strip the human figure of literal detail and reconstruct it through saturated, expressive color fields. I am particularly drawn to the tension between presence and absence.  Traditional silhouettes rely on darkness to define form, but my work deliberately disrupts this logic.  I replace shadow with luminosity, transforming what is typically obscure into something vivid, animated, and impossible to ignore.  In doing so, I challenge the viewer’s expectation of how the human form should be perceived and understood. The silhouette, for me, is not a reduction of identity but an expansion of it.  By removing physical specificity, I create space for psychological, emotional, and symbolic readings to emerge.  Color becomes the language through which these identities are constructed...

Abstract Art Expressionist Portrait to Shop | Artmiabo

Abstract Art Expressionist Portrait to Shop                    Art for Sale This art is inspired by women who are ambitious, strong, intelligent and self made, yet vulnerable in the same society that has given them the opportunity to excel.  Most women can identify with this kind of daily struggle. With their hard won success, they still fight for equality and a sit at the table. This abstract expressionist painting, is made with Ink paint, on paper board, random application of Ink, spray paint, stencil and  fluorescent marker.  The black stencil back ground is referencing the society in which she has emerged from, difficult yet enduring as she shatters the glass ceiling. This is a colorful street art painting made on smooth paperboard.  BUY  this Art at Saatchiart.com               💖💖💖                  Miabo Enyadike ...
