Dele Odugbemi: New CEO Artmiabo Agency

Special Corporate Announcement

New CEO Appointment: Dele Odugbemi

Artmiabo Agency announces the appointment of Dele Odugbemi as its Chief Executive Officer, marking a decisive step in building the first dedicated visual art agency in Nigeria and the African continent.

This leadership transition aligns with our mandate to transform African visual art into a scalable economic asset, linking fine art, advertising, digital media, cultural IP, and strategic partnerships into one unified commercial engine.

Dele’s track record is not theoretical; it is operational and measurable. He has led business transformation across more than 35 African markets, driving digital innovation, market expansion, and corporate revenue for global firms including JCDecaux, WPP, Ogilvy, and Aegis Media.

His leadership scaled JCDecaux Nigeria from a start-up into a profitable national operation, secured major government concessions, and delivered pan-African campaigns that reached over 100 million consumers.

His expertise in governance, P&L leadership, and regulatory navigation positions him to execute at the level this sector now demands.

With African arts and culture gaining unprecedented global attention, Artmiabo Agency enters the market at a critical inflection point.

Under Dele’s direction, the agency will accelerate high-value partnerships, deepen commercial visibility for African artists, and expand the cultural influence initiated through the AMIAF Festival, now recognized as an emerging cultural asset for the continent.

This appointment signals our commitment to building a world-class creative economy infrastructure, backed by disciplined strategy, data-driven positioning, and strong stakeholder alignment.

Stakeholders across investment, media, corporate enterprise, and cultural institutions can expect focused leadership, scalable models, and a clear pathway to sustained growth in Africa’s creative sector under Dele Odugbemi’s stewardship. Dele Odugbemi resumes immediately in Lagos Nigeria.

"Happy to bring my experience into a collaborative environment that ArtMiabo is enabling. Our aim is to take the business of art to its rightful place and I look forward to making a meaningful contribution with an exciting team!" -Dele odugbemi

Founders Statement:

I welcome Dele Odugbemi 's leadership at Artmiabo Agency with full confidence. His appointment signals a bold shift toward a more sophisticated, partnership-driven model for African art, one that connects artists to high-level commercial, cultural, and cross-sector opportunities.

Dele has led some of the most influential advertising and media organizations in Africa, from outdoor media to strategic media buying, and he brings a level of operational discipline and market intelligence that this sector urgently needs.

His experience now converges with the vision behind the continent’s first dedicated Fine and Visual Art Agency. It is a critical moment for African creativity, and I am committed to advancing this next chapter alongside him.
