Blooms – Through the Prism of Abstract
By Miabo Enyadike
"There are moments in life when we are called to grow, not because conditions are perfect, but because the soul insists on blooming" - Miabo Enyadike.
Blooms-Through the Prism of Abstract was born from that very space.
Each artwork in the collection became a metaphor for emotion. I used flowers as symbols, not in their literal beauty, but as abstract expressions of feeling. Through vivid color, Ink pour, bold brushstrokes, and layered textures, each bloom mirrored the quiet resilience that defines us as human beings.
Some pieces spoke of joy, radiant, spontaneous bursts of light. Others whispered of pain, muted tones, fractured forms, moments of stillness. Yet together, they formed a conversation about growth, grace, and the beauty of being alive.
Through the prism of abstraction, I found new ways to express what words cannot always hold, how we open, heal, and transform through joy and sorrow alike. The exhibition became, for me, a celebration of life’s complexity, of our shared ability to bloom through it all.
Blooms is not just an art series, it is a meditation on hope, an invitation to see ourselves reflected in color and form, and a reminder that beauty often emerges from the most unexpected places.
