Born in 1978, Dr. Bolaji Ogunwo has built an impressive career in both art practice and academia. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Fine & Applied Art from the University of Benin, Edo State, in 2000, specializing in painting. His quest for artistic excellence led him to earn a Master’s degree from the University of Lagos (2006) and a Ph.D. in Painting from Delta State University, Abraka (2020). Dr. Ogunwo is currently a Painting Lecturer at the Department of Creative Arts, University of Lagos, Akoka, Nigeria, where he has nurtured the next generation of artists.
