Abstract Art Paintings, 'A Path To No Where' was an abstract painting series, commissioned by a young art collector. He had collected quite a bit of my work and supported my abstract painting style, but nothing this big.

When I got the call from him saying he was looking for Abstract Art pieces to cover the huge blank walls in his new apartment, he thought about me.

He referenced my use of colors in an unabashed way that he liked, and that he needed vibrant, colorful, abstract art paintings, in his new home. I have made those types of very Colorful Abstract Paintings  before and they have all been collected privately, so I understood what he meant.

Create something he said, that is abstract, colorful but with meaning.I did that but with a cause dear to my heart, Climate Change. Two large 4 m x 8 m abstract paintings where commissioned and the work went on and I finished. They where later shipped and installed in his Apartment far away in Lagos.

A 'Path To No Where'  is an Abstract Art Painting about our environment and how preservation with education about our planet is important. Especially with the oil pollution and air pollution, right now out there, there seems to be no path way.

As we watch our planet disintegrate whether we belief in climate change or not, there are certain factors and elements that make it difficult for us to estimate these damages, that occur through severe natural disasters and man made manufactured errors. These factors are borne out of denials, as to the real existence of climate change.

These abstract paintings might look Colorful and Vibrant but the story behind it is bleak and one that is a cause dear to my heart.

These abstract paintings with bold colors, infusing together in a rather raucous way, depicts the volatile rage of forest fires, hurricanes, mass flooding, excessive heat.

The painted lines indicate barriers and boundaries broken, as indicators of the danger and damage we are faced with. I have made several abstract painting series on this subject of natural disasters and climate change.

The gold leaves on one of the Abstract Painting are not actual gold, but indicate a sparse vegetation in the future, due to burned out landscape and terrible heat waves, whereby it will become terribly expensive to keep and maintain a green leafy, lush forest, and vegetation.

These elements might bring about, whereby green vegetation will be golden and difficult to come by because of deep damage to the earths natural composition from these disasters

We need green vegetation like the amazon to remain intact, this is good for the planet as it absorbs carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and releases good oxygen, in the years going forward...I can only imagine what lies ahead!

This was all in my thought process when I made this Art, my client works in the oil industry, huge irony!
but I felt a nice colorful reminder is not too bad.

My client was satisfied, that is what matters after all...he knows its Abstract Art...Enjoy

Expressionist Abstract Art of Women by Miabo Enyadike

Expressionist Abstract Art of Women  Drawing women and their expressions is something, I am truly interested in. Female profiles and faces in abstract is intriguing and Ink drawings, are a way for me to throw that notion out there, of a female portrait created differently.  This is something that is important to me as a woman artist, this matters.                                                                                                                  I draw faces in a way that is uncomplicated  and easy to read, in a rather caricature way though not comical, with ink, it is easy to let the colors flow so that they create for me, the facial contours and structure.  My emp...

Innovative Strategies for Selling Arts and Crafts                      SELL YOUR ART THROUGH BLOGGING ABOUT YOUR ARTWORKS.... MY ARTIST DEFINITION/EXPERIENCE An Artist is one that is creatively free-spirited meaning one that creates a world around themselves that conforms to the life they portray through their works. The life of the artist is simple yet complicated with ideas on how everything from food, clothing, lifestyle, music, how kids are raised, environment and social issues should be interpreted.  Most artists express these views through various forms of visual and fine art and it is left for interpretation by the viewer or people in general who view this art and are sometimes confused about the Artists true genuine intentions and reasoning.  Most artist if not all have experienced this confusion from the audience, gallery owners, collectors, sponsors, and family.  My experience with most galleries, I ...

Modern Abstract Art Silhouettes to view | Miabo Enyadike

Modern Abstract Art Silhouettes to view   I enjoy painting abstract art silhouettes especially faces. The simple reason is I can manipulate the profile of an individual, with several layers of color. Color for me is an integral part of my art aesthetics I allow color to lead my creative process in the way I see the art I am about to create.            Silhouette of a woman; Abstract Art; by miabo enyadike. My Abstract Art this week is all about using colors to create a simple silhouette, of a woman and a man. When I decided to create this particular abstract painting, it was more of emphasis on color than on the human profile. I wanted to see what the outcome of the creative process would look like.  Also to see if and when the human features are covered in colors, other than our natural colors would this Art evoke any emotions?... that simply belies the fact, that color seems to be one the many problems we have in our so...

Waste Recycled - A Sustainable Art Living by Miabo Enyadike

The Art of Sustainable Living Sustainable living, Found Objects, Recycling,  Up-cycle, Eco Art, call it whatever has been my life style as an artist for many years.  My attitude toward the discarded found object is reflected in my home.  I collect used bottles, books, distressed wood, pine cones, used jeans, used clothing, used plastics and so many more to create art and design for homes, collectors and my store.  My home forms an integral part of my art process, because I work and live in the same space as the Art I sell. My early inspiration came from Jasper Johns early works where he used mostly found objects to create art.                          Cross Made out of Wood, Egg Shells and Egg Crates Then I moved on to be inspired by street art here in Africa through my travels across the continent.  I discovered really moving and inspiring art, created with found objects that we take for granted ...
