I love to create Art and craft with ropes, and I really enjoy it.
Rope pendant light
After a delightful discovery of a store selling off its craft supplies, including a large stash of cotton ropes, at a ridiculous closing down price, I was hooked and decided to have all the ropes.
I had no idea what to do with them and kept them for a year and half and later re-discovered them,in a box in my studio.
I was drawn, into a frenzy of crafting these ropes into anything, I thought was possible for me to create.
I decided to to take a break, from painting and concentrate on roping something!
I crocheted bags, baskets, made entangled rope pendant lights.
Then I created baskets, with the aid of plastic molds and just had fun with them.
I still have more rope and I am looking forward to a time, I can craft some more.
Right now I am pretty occupied with paintings..Enjoy
