HOMELESS MAN; ART ILLUSTRATION BY MIABO ENYADIKE.

We just celebrated father's day, last Sunday and everywhere had signs or display, saluting fathers.  The social media was buzzing with all of us trying to outdo each other, with greetings and outpouring of love, to all the fathers we know out there. It was indeed wonderful and fathers felt loved. The restaurant,  we were  having fathers  day lunch was packed with families and there they were, all the fathers. Obviously enjoying all the attention and beaming with pride, for having been recognized, at last by their families that they are in charge.  THE HOMELESS MAN; INK ON NEWSPAPER; ILLUSTRATION;  130CM,120CM; 2015; MIABO ENYADIKE. Then it struck me, right across the street sat a very  disheveled man, with very tired bloodshot eyes, just staring at something that was not there.  He could not have been staring at the cars that drove, certainly no...

MIXED MEDIA ART WITH LEATHER AND PAPER CUTS BY MIABO ENYADIKE

Recently, I was offered a huge pile of leather cut offs by the upholstery store down the road around the area I live.  Its not that I'm a big customer, but  I am a friend of the business and their regular, leather stalker. I keep an eagle eye on their leather scraps. They know, that I would take whatever, I am given with gratitude and appreciation, so the stalking became legal.  When I was given, this huge pile I immediately went into creative mode in my mind. Coming up with  craft ideas, I could use these cut offs for.  Then it occurred to me, that I could actually create art, with it.  Something different, simple but abstract. I decided to create, sculpted newspapers as the base, to apply my leather cut offs on.  Each telling a story, that is different but are all similar, because of the leather and the colors I chose to paint them. The inspiration for these Art comes from cows. ...

African Bead Design Collection | by Miabo Enyadike

African Bead Design Collection   Jewelry making is a craft I enjoy and it helps me financially too. Bead making can also serve a revenue stream and a small business that can grow into something big. I enjoy jewelry making because it allows me to be more creative and daring. The cool thing about making jewelry, is there are no rules,   any cool object or material could be used and that's fabulous.  Most of the jewelry, I make are beads and I make them,   for the purpose of Art not really to be worn.   I enjoy mounting them, on mannequins as display and sell them as art. These beads are acrylic beads and I decided to design them as a collection. So I share with you some of them,  exhibited in a craft show...Enjoy!                                   MIABO ENYADIKE

Guide to Deconstructing Art: Transform Abstract Art into New Creations by Miabo Enyadike

Guide to Deconstructing Art: Transform Abstract Art into New Creations I love playing with drawings I've made,  I enjoy taking them further almost like deconstructing them,  into something more exciting and forward.  I have created quite a few for clients, over the years and they have turned out awesome. ART ILLUSTRATION-THE FAMILY X DAY OUT | BY MIABO ENYADIKE

Art illustration-Family:Ink/Marker:by Miabo Enyadike Sitting and having lunch in a restaurant sometime ago and minding my own business...  I noticed a family walk in from the corner of my eye, and watched them slowly settle in a table opposite mine. It was one of those lazy afternoons I had nothing to do and just wanted to chill out.  So doing nothing, my eyes were busy taking note of everything around me whilst I had my drink.  It was interesting, to watch this family of four, the mother who obviously, looked like she needed a break and the father who could not hide his frustration, about anything and everything.                               Art illustration-Family:Ink/Marker:by Miabo Enyadike They had this cute daughter who ran the show. She really was joyfully naughty de...
