Craft I Made With Scrap Fabric  Fabric is an item that we all have because we don't only wear it,it is used in every aspect of our lives. They wear off and sometimes we are stuck with them, as it turns out, we can turn them into little art pieces that can be enjoyed by us and our kids. Here are some of my fabric remnant turned into art and craft,I used old jeans fabric because of the texture,  glued it to canvas and applied texture paste on them in order to create a worn out look and feel. Since my objective, was children when creating these craft, I decided to apply flourescent acrylic paint,  that is bright and glows in the dark to create some sort of excitement for them. ............ENJOY                         MIABO

I DO THIS FOR LOVE  (ABSTRACT ART) Being in my art studio lately is less enthusiastic and work is so slow and almost like a burden, which should  not be because art is my life.                               PLANTS  After a lenghty discussion with myself, it turned out that the news reports I listen to, laced with doom and gloom and all the horrible narratives, about issues around the world,leaves me feeling empty and weary.This certainly was one of the factors.                         The other is artist block meaning (no forthcoming meaningful creative process). This year has been one that I have been in my studio, day in day out creating art and working relentlessly, maybe I have milked myself dry, I thought and then it hit me, that my studio needed a cheerful and child like ambiance.       ...

Unique Abstract Art + Fashion Paintings  Fashion for most of us is serious, and any retail therapy around fashion is welcomed, with so much delight and enthusiasm.   For me apart from the shopping aspect of fashion, I look forward to all things fashion as a way of life and it truly being a lifestyle. This is what inspires me always, to enjoy my thoughts of fashion and either pen it to paper,   or indulge myself with fashion illustrations, just for the sheer fun and delight of it. Contemporary Abstract Art Faces to view                                Over the past weekend, I  needed to just paint something , there was a rush to get my thoughts and sketches down. I later discovered I had no canvas or paper, except for paint and my brushes of course.  As artist sometimes the urge to get a particular work done, at a particular time is one we can all relate too.  Sometimes this creative urge is so strong,that we are ready to drive miles to get the art materials to get our art done. For me frustration is what I felt, with no surface to work on.I had just rushed back from down town joburg with excitement, after a breakfast outing and I had spent most of the time people watching .
