  Meet Richard Dickson: A Journey of Art, Passion, and Enduring Creativity Ighere Richard Dickson Over 20 years ago, I had the privilege of meeting Richard Dickson in my hometown of Port Harcourt, Nigeria. It was an ordinary afternoon in my art gallery when he walked in, turning it into a moment I'll never forget.  My staff had informed me the day before that Richard had traveled all the way from Ibadan a really far state in western Nigeria to my state in Southern Nigeria, to meet me after someone recommended my gallery.  Artist Richard Dickson Although asked to leave his works behind to avoid carrying them around, Richard made a lasting impression even before we met.
