ART ILLUSTRATION-THE FAMILY X DAY OUT | BY MIABO ENYADIKE

                        Art illustration-Family:Ink/Marker:by Miabo Enyadike
Sitting and having lunch in a restaurant sometime ago and minding my own business...

I noticed a family walk in from the corner of my eye, and watched them slowly settle in a table opposite mine.

It was one of those lazy afternoons I had nothing to do and just wanted to chill out.

So doing nothing, my eyes were busy taking note of everything around me whilst I had my drink.

It was interesting, to watch this family of four, the mother who obviously, looked like she needed a break and the father who could not hide his frustration, about anything and everything.

They had this cute daughter who ran the show. She really was joyfully naughty definitely getting under the skin of her dad, thank goodness not her mum who was bent on ignoring her tantrums.

The other member of the family a teenage boy between the age of 14 and 16 I could not really tell, had his entire attention on his phone totally oblivious of what was going on around his person.

I watched underneath my eyelids, enjoying every moment of this family's outing and glad to be out alone.

As a mother of 2 teenage kids and a 6 yr old, I could understand why the mother of those kids, needed a break and left their father to attend to the kids.

It's a scene, that is all too familiar to me and plays out each time we are out as a family.

Anything the kids say or need, I just point my finger, to their father and say ask daddy!.

I decided to capture this scene and of course relieved that I was not in it.

I  brought out my pen from my bag, after I had asked for my bill, and quickly sketched the facial expressions, of this family on a spare napkin on my table.

I later made a mixed media illustration painting of it later that afternoon.......Enjoy.

Modern Abstract Art Silhouettes to view | Miabo Enyadike

Modern Abstract Art Silhouettes to view   I enjoy painting abstract art silhouettes especially faces. The simple reason is I can manipulate the profile of an individual, with several layers of color. Color for me is an integral part of my art aesthetics I allow color to lead my creative process in the way I see the art I am about to create.            Silhouette of a woman; Abstract Art; by miabo enyadike. My Abstract Art this week is all about using colors to create a simple silhouette, of a woman and a man. When I decided to create this particular abstract painting, it was more of emphasis on color than on the human profile. I wanted to see what the outcome of the creative process would look like.  Also to see if and when the human features are covered in colors, other than our natural colors would this Art evoke any emotions?... that simply belies the fact, that color seems to be one the many problems we have in our so...

Recycled Waste - Transforming Trash to Treasure: A Journey in Recycling Art with Discarded Objects By Miabo Enyadike

Transforming Trash to Treasure: A Journey in Recycling Art with Discarded Objects                 Taking long morning walks has become an essential exercise for me, serving multiple purposes. Not only do these walks help me maintain a sound exercise regimen, but they also offer the perfect opportunity to pick up discarded objects that catch my interest.              As I stroll through the neighborhood, I gather various discarded items, both small and large, because I see potential art in them. Breathing new life into these forgotten objects excites me, transforming what was once seen as trash into something beautiful and meaningful.                         This type of artwork is my true passion, and it always feels refreshing to me. The act of picking up discarded items fuels my motivation to walk every morning, regardless of the weather.   ...
