12 Reasons Why We Need More Abstract Art in the World – A Personal Perspective by Miabo Enyadike

Why We Need More Abstract Art in the World

What is Abstract Art? Abstract art is a concept that can mean different things to different people.

As an abstract artist who finds immense joy in creating these pieces, I define it as the use of colors, shapes, and objects to narrate stories about people, places, or emotions.

It’s a world of limitless possibilities, where the artist’s imagination becomes the viewer’s playground.

12 Reasons Why We Love Abstract Art.

Abstract art has a way of captivating us. It’s not always about understanding it but about feeling it. Here are 12 reasons why we need more abstract art out there:

1. The Audacity of Artists:

Abstract artists dare to tell stories in ways only they understand. Their unique perspective, unbound by conventions, invites us to question, interpret, and connect.

3. Universal Appeal:

Whether you’re an art novice or an expert, abstract art has a magnetic quality. It invites everyone to explore and interpret its essence.

4: The Mystery:

There’s an undeniable allure in the mystery of abstract art. It’s a puzzle that leaves you in awe, connecting you with the artist’s spirit.

5: Intrigue:

Abstract art intrigues us with its ability to convey meaning through what seems meaningless. This paradox is both powerful and thought-provoking.

7: Stimulates Thought Processes:

What was the artist thinking? Abstract art invites us to dive into their world and discover their perspective.
8: Carries a Message:
Every piece of abstract art holds a message. Even when it’s not immediately apparent, the story unfolds with time and thought. 9: Freedom of Expression:
Abstract art celebrates freedom. It allows artists to express their ideas without constraints, creating a vibrant world of creativity. 10: Engages Critics:
Critics play a vital role in abstract art. Their analyses spark conversations, helping the art reach wider audiences.

Waste Recycled - A Sustainable Art Living by Miabo Enyadike

The Art of Sustainable Living Sustainable living, Found Objects, Recycling,  Up-cycle, Eco Art, call it whatever has been my life style as an artist for many years.  My attitude toward the discarded found object is reflected in my home.  I collect used bottles, books, distressed wood, pine cones, used jeans, used clothing, used plastics and so many more to create art and design for homes, collectors and my store.  My home forms an integral part of my art process, because I work and live in the same space as the Art I sell. My early inspiration came from Jasper Johns early works where he used mostly found objects to create art.                          Cross Made out of Wood, Egg Shells and Egg Crates Then I moved on to be inspired by street art here in Africa through my travels across the continent.  I discovered really moving and inspiring art, created with found objects that we take for granted ...
