AMIAF Art Festivals

Artmiabo International Art Festival Logo

Introduction to Artmiabo International Art Festival (AMIAF) Artmiabo International Art Festival (AMIAF) is not just another art event; it is a celebration of creativity, culture, and sustainability that brings artists, art lovers, and cultural enthusiasts from around the world together. What sets AMIAF apart from other art festivals is its commitment to showcasing diverse, innovative art forms while promoting eco-consciousness and sustainability in the art industry. Founded by Miabo Enyadike, a renowned Nigerian artist and art curator, AMIAF was born out of the desire to create a platform where both emerging and established artists could exhibit their work in a global setting. The festival provides a unique opportunity for artists to not only showcase their creativity but also engage in cultural exchange, build networks, and gain exposure in the global art market. One of the core elements of AMIAF is its focus on eco-friendly art practices. In a world increasingly affected by environmental issues, this festival champions the use of sustainable materials, recycling, and innovative techniques to create art that not only speaks to the soul but also respects the planet. Through this, AMIAF encourages artists to think outside the box and incorporate elements of environmental consciousness into their work, which makes the festival stand out as a pioneer of eco-art advocacy. Furthermore, AMIAF’s inclusion of art workshops, panel discussions, and interactive sessions allows participants to explore the intersection of art, society, and environmental responsibility. Whether you’re a seasoned artist, an art collector, or simply a lover of creativity, the festival offers an immersive experience that blends visual beauty with meaningful dialogue on how art can influence and reflect societal issues. In essence, the Artmiabo International Art Festival is a vibrant, culturally rich event that serves as a beacon of creativity, environmental stewardship, and international collaboration—making it truly unique in the global art scene.

AMIAF is dedicated to fostering creativity, promoting cultural exchange, and providing a platform for emerging and established artists to share their work with a global audience. The festivals objective is simply to represent the 'unrepresented artists', giving them a platform to display and showcase their creativity and introducing them to possible recognitions, art buyers and collectors.

Through a very targeted marketing strategy Artmiabo aims to position the Artmiabo International Art Festival as a recognised international art event.

Join us at AMIAF to experience the transformative power of art and connect with the creative pulse of the world.

Exhibition Inspiration:

In the realm of sculptural artistry, where stone, metal, and wood are the raw materials of our creative voyage, artmiabo international art festival, 2024, (Amiaf) embarks upon a journey known as the "Sculptor's Odyssey." This artistic odyssey is not merely a physical expedition but a profound exploration of the human spirit, nature, and the limitless bounds of imagination.

Like Odysseus navigating through treacherous waters, all, sculptors, navigate through the depths of their minds, seeking to unearth the stories hidden within each medium they touch. Every chisel stroke, every molten pour, and every carving is a testament to their unwavering commitment to craft and storytelling. It is AMIAF'S hope that through this artistic endeavor, we can convey the emotions, narratives, and visions that have taken root in the recesses of their consciousness.

The act of sculpting is an intimate dialogue between the artist and the material. It is a dance between control and surrender, as they mold, shape, and coax the raw substance into forms that reflect their innermost thoughts and feelings. With each piece, they strive to capture the essence of humanity—the beauty and complexity of existence, the triumphs and tribulations of our shared journey.

The Sculptor's Odyssey is not bound by time or place. It draws inspiration from the echoes of the past, the vibrancy of the present, and the enigma of the future. It is an expedition that transcends cultural, geographical, and temporal boundaries, seeking to create a universal language that resonates with all who encounter their work.

As they embark on this odyssey, Artmiabo International Art Festival 2024, invites you, the viewer, to join us on this voyage of discovery. Together, we will traverse the landscapes of the mind, where imagination knows no bounds, and where the art of sculpting becomes a testament to the enduring human spirit. Through their sculptures, the festival in 2024 aspires to ignite a sense of wonder, provoke contemplation, and elicit emotions that connect us all on this shared odyssey of life.

Discovering the Inspirational Brilliance of Picasso's Famous Quotes Pablo Picasso, one of the most influential artists of the 20th century, had many memorable quotes about art and creativity. Here are some of the known Picasso quotes: "Every child is an artist . The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up." "Art is the elimination of the unnecessary." "I am always doing that which I cannot do, in order that I may learn how to do it." "The purpose of art is washing the dust of daily life off our souls." "The artist is a receptacle for emotions that come from all over the place: from the sky, from the earth, from a scrap of paper, from a passing shape, from a spider's web." " Art is the lie that enables us to realize the truth." "Action is the foundational key to all success." "It took me four years to paint like Raphael, but a lifetime to paint like a child." Welcome to my latest blog post! I'm thrilled to share with you my new collection of abstract art flower paintings. As an artist, I find endless inspiration in the natural world, and flowers have always been a favorite subject of mine. In this collection, I've blended vibrant colors and dynamic forms to create pieces that evoke both beauty and emotion. The Inspiration behind my flower paintings are the beauty and mystery around flowers. I would also include their fragrance, their delicate petals and their total disregard for color tones and shades, is why I love to paint flowers. They are indeed refreshing and as an artists, I create my color palette from an array of flowers growing together in a garden. The color possibilities are indeed endless. Artists Staying True To Your Art Style | Artmiabo

Artists Staying True To Your Art Style STAYING TRUE TO YOUR ART STYLE What is Your Art Style? The Artist, especially the fine Artist is one that communicates their raw and true emotions through their work.   The talent that is birth through these kinds of emotions from the Artist, is the Artwork we see them create time after time, giving it relevance regardless of their personal social status. This for me is the definition of the Art style of an Artist.  Consistency is key as well as fluidity, an ability to play with all mediums and still be recognizable is the defining factor of an Artist with their own style.                    Your Art style is not a trend but one that is given to the Artist as a personal vision and its instructed from within, so much that even the Artist can not really explain, how or run away from it, but can only translate this vision into reality.                               Some might call it talent, I might agree but from a deeper sense I wou

Unlocking the Collector's Mind: Decoding Art Purchases | Artmiabo

Unlocking the Collector's Mind: Decoding Art Purchases Throughout my 30+ years as an artist, I've often found myself pondering the enigmatic motivations that drive art collectors. While artists pour their passion into every stroke, hoping for universal acclaim, the reality is that collectors play the role of judges, curators act as assistants, and artworks become the captivating stories narrated by the artists. The Artist's Anticipation and Collector's Influence: When artists embark on projects, their expectations of reception are paramount. The elation from praise is dwarfed by the disappointment of rejection. I've experienced the disillusionment triggered by a single disdainful comment, turning an artist's dream into a nightmare. In the art world, collectors or patrons are the game-changers. They wield the power to shape an artist's career, influencing creativity locally and globally. Whether they buy or commission, collectors validate the artist's

My recent trip to this captivating destination left me with unforgettable memories and a collection of travel photos that I’m thrilled to share with you. From pristine beaches to vibrant local culture, Cape Verde offers a diverse range of experiences that are a feast for the eyes and soul.                                                    One of the first things that struck me about Cape Verde was its breathtaking landscapes.                               Exploring the Artistic Style and Creative Process of a Talented Artist There is a creative style and process an artist, over many years of practice, is naturally attracted to adopt simply because it is accurate in depicting an idea and relaying it with ease with a  profound message to an audience.  This piece falls in a series of works that attempts to freeze my daily observations within my geographical space in time. Flowers in my neighborhood are a normal visual element and how they appear at different times of the day with various weather conditions is what informed my choice of color.  This flower is a red bulb plant in a vase filled with water, delicately painted in abstract expressionism. Yellow which is symbolic of the sun is flushed with red strokes to amplify the transformation a single flower can undergo in a day due to varying atmospheric conditions to convey the message that the behavior of almost everything in nature is influenced and results

Abstract Art Paintings: Colors of Emotions Series by Miabo Enyadike

Abstract Art Paintings: Colors of Emotions Series  This Abstract Art Series is based on color coded emotions. Emotions are feelings within us that we project outside, sometimes the turmoil we feel within us or the joy and happiness can be interpreted to mean a dark mood, red hot, happiness, sadness and more.  I created this art at a time the mood around the world was filled with mixed emotions, turmoil, confusion and anger due to COVID-19.  Art for me was a kind of escape and a way to translate how people felt, locked up and confused emotionally. Colors always play a part in our moods and emotions, the calm cool blue, determined red hot, happy yellow, green calm perfectionist, dark mysterious mourning black, all these interpretations of colors, project who we are or how we feel at certain times.  My abstract art series on emotions, tries to tie the colors of emotion together not as individual colors of emotions but as several emotions entangled up in our minds during the Pandemic loc
